About Fluid Courses
My name is Alastair Macartney and I’m the person behind Fluid Courses.
I’m a World Champion BASE jumper, former Army Officer and I’ve run a multi-million dollar business. I blog at Perfect Madness, Medium and the Huffington Post as well as having been featured in a variety of international media outlets such as The Times, CBS, The Sun, Fox 4 News and Sky News. I also speak to a variety of audiences on Leadership, Motivation, Success and Productivity.
My online presence has drifted into a few areas so I wanted to have one single place where my online courses could be based. That led to the creation of Fluid Courses and this website. Here you’ll find the best of what I offer with immediate access to the courses of your choice.
Because I directly control this website and the content it means I can keep it up to date with the latest thinking, tips, techniques and strategies that can directly add value to you.
I’ve come up against my fair share of challenges in life. It took me a while but I realized that success wasn’t what I once though it was. Not only that, but achieving success was something that was possible for me if I wanted it badly enough and developed a strategy to succeed.
Once I made this leap and realized what I needed to do to succeed, life has been incredible. It doesn’t matter if you want to lead a small team, be more successful, achieve your goals, be a better husband or wife, work more productively or just want to smile more – I have potential solutions to all of this.
My courses won’t do everything for you. You need to want it and you’re going to need to work alongside me to get the results you want. If you’re prepared to do this then I’d love to have you on board and join together on an incredible journey.
Alastair Macartney’s bravery is only surpassed by his kindness and ability to connect with audiences. A seasoned communicator, Alastair’s self-deprecating style, vulnerability and stage presence has the power to move, evoke smiles and most importantly — pulls audiences forward into their seats and towards something that matters. I worked with Alastair on TEDxHousesofParliament. As curator I wanted to share his excitement and passion with a wider audiences, not only in the room for the event, but beyond to a digital audience. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and was very receptive to ideas and feedback as we shaped his talk. As a result his talk was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the event and got a hugely positive response from the audience.Tom O/Leary
